Baptism

At Holy Family, we encourage our parish families to baptize their children as soon as possible because this sacrament is the foundation of the Christian life. In Baptism we are freed from original sin, become heirs to the Kingdom of God, and receive the indwelling of the Holy Trinity.

• Please call the parish office at 952.929.0113 to schedule your child's Baptism. Baptisms are usually on the first Sunday of the month. If it is your first time or has been over three years since you had a child baptized, the parish office will help you schedule a preliminary Baptism meeting with Deacon Jim Meyer which must be completed at least one week prior to the Baptism.

Also, at least one week prior to Baptism, please provide:

• A copy of your child's birth certificate
• Both forms, below, completed and sent "Attn: Kathy Fink" via fax, mail, or at staff@hfcmn.org :

               1) This Registration Form
               2) This Godparent Form, completed by each Godparent

See requirements for Godparent/s here. The Godparent/s must obtain their pastor’s signature on this form.
