REGISTRATION OPEN:
Soccer Camp: MN United Loons, in partnership with HFA!
Dates: Monday, August 6th-Friday, August 10th
Time: 9 AM-11 AM
Grades: (Junior Loons) boys and girls; entering 3rd-8th
Location: Louisiana Oaks Park, 3350 Louisiana Ave S. in St. Louis Park
Description: Our innovative “Play the Minnesota United Way” curriculum includes fundamental and tactical activities that move to small-sided games where players will be encouraged to use their newly learned skills.
Persons in Charge: HFA Representatives & MNUFC Youth Development Staff
Cost: $125/student- limited scholarships available
Description: Archaeology has been called the handmaid of history. So much of what we know about the past is based upon careful examination of archaeological records. This summer, join us for an exciting adventure and learn some of the scientific principles and hands-on skills that real archaeologists around the world use to uncover the long-buried secrets of the past!
Instructors: Mr. Panka & Ms. Conley
Cost: $150/student (additional siblings are $100)- a limited number of partial scholarships available

Drama Camp
Dates: Monday, July 9th-Friday, July 13th
Time: 9:30 AM-noon
Grades: Entering 2nd-6th
Location: Holy Family Academy
Description: New this year! Mrs. Johnston will take students on a journey of fun and excitement, learning how to improvise, play act, and how to have stage presence. Students will work toward the performance of a 30-minute play (to be revealed in order to add suspense!) at the end of the camp, Friday, July 13th, at noon.

Catholic Vacation Bible School (CVBS)
Dates: Monday, June 25th-Friday, June 29th
Time: 8:45 AM-noon
Grades: Entering Pre-K (must be at least 4 years old)-6th
Location: Holy Family Academy
Description: The 2018 theme for CVBS is "Discovery Mission!" Your vocation is your mission! Is it to marriage, the priesthood, religious life? Children will have the opportunity to enjoy snacks, engage in games, art, drama, lessons, and stories that will help them to seek God's Will, and meet special guests who are living out their Vocations.Come explore, and maybe discover, your mission this summer at the Catholic VOCATION Bible School!
Instructors: many adult & teenaged trained helpers
Cost: $30/child (maximum $90/family)- scholarships available

Choir Camp
Dates: Tuesday, July 17th-Friday, July 20th
Time: 9 AM-noon
Ages: 7-18
Location: Holy Family Catholic Church
Description: Holy Family's annual Choir Camp for Kids is an educational, four-day exploration of all things musical. With our extra-special teaching staff, the kids will be kept busy learning about music, playing educational musical games, and singing pretty much the whole time! The camp will culminate in a public concert in the church on Friday, July 20th, at 11:30 AM (all are welcome to attend!).

Cost: $25/student (family cap of $75)

Gregorian Chant Camp
Dates: Tuesday, July 24th-Friday, July 27th (attendance all four days is required)
Time: 1 PM-4 PM
Grades: Any high school student entering 9th-12th
Location: Holy Family Academy
Description: This intensive four-day camp delves deeply in the vast subject of Gregorian Chant, the Church's official Sacred Music. Study of the eight Church Modes, the functions of the various types of chant, the traditional square notation of the Middle Ages, and the 2000-year history of chant are all undertaken. It’s like musical archaeology! The camp will culminate in a public concert in the church on Friday, July 27th, at 4 PM (all are welcome to attend!).

Cost: $50/student (A new copy of the Gregorian Missal will be included)

Grades: Entering 3rd-6th
Location: Holy Family Academy
Description: Keep your child’s math skills fresh during the summer through age-appropriate math games, exercises, and hands-on activities, done individually and in groups!

Cost: $50/student, per week ($100/student for both weeks; you may do the first week only or both weeks)

Reading Primer

Grades: Entering 3rd-6th
Location: Holy Family Academy
Description: Improve your child’s reading and note-taking skills through this course, designed with different strategies to encourage comprehension of age-appropriate literature, non-fiction, and poetry!
