Drama Camp (Grades 1-3)
Dates: Monday, June 3rd-Friday, June 7th (attendance required on all days, no exceptions)

Location: Holy Family Academy, Kattar Hall
Back by popular demand! Mrs. Johnston will take students on a journey of fun and excitement, learning how to improvise, play act, and how to have stage presence. Students will work toward the performance of a 30-minute play (to be revealed in order to add suspense!) at the end of the camp, Friday, June 7th, at noon. Please note: this camp reached full enrollment very quickly last year, so don't delay in signing up!

Catholic Vacation Bible School (CVBS) 2019
Dates: Monday, June 24th-Friday, June 28th
Time: 8:45 AM-noon
Grades: Entering Pre-K (must be at least 4 years old by Sept. 1st, 2019)-6th
Location: Holy Family Academy
The 2019 theme for CVBS is "Looking for the Lamb -Our Eucharistic Jesus!" Children will have the opportunity to enjoy snacks, engage in games, art, drama, lessons, and stories!

Sisters of Mary Morning Star Spiritual Enrichment Opportunities

Choir Camp for Kids
Dates: Tuesday, July 9th-Friday, July 12th
Time: 9 AM-noon
Ages: 7-18
Location: Holy Family Catholic Church
Holy Family's annual Choir Camp for Kids is an educational, four-day exploration of all things musical. With our extra-special teaching staff, the kids will be kept busy learning about music, playing educational musical games, and singing pretty much the whole time! The camp will culminate in a public concert in the church on Friday, July 12th, at 11:30 AM (all are welcome to attend!).

Gregorian Chant Camp for High-Schoolers
Dates: Tuesday, July 16th-Friday, July 19th (attendance all four days is required)
Time: 1 PM-4 PM
Grades: Any high school student entering 9th-12th
Location: Holy Family Academy
This intensive four-day camp delves deeply in the vast subject of Gregorian Chant, the Church's official Sacred Music. Study of the eight Church Modes, the functions of the various types of chant, the traditional square notation of the Middle Ages, and the 2000-year history of chant are all undertaken. It’s like musical archaeology!

Singapore Math Workshops for Parents
Workshop 1: Tuesday, July 23rd, 1-4 PM

Parents may come to one or both of the workshops for a very thorough and informative talk on the conceptual underpinnings and philosophy of Singapore Math (it will be the same information both times, but a lot of it!). Even those parents in Pre-K and Kindergarten should consider coming to this talk as we will not be able to host it for another few years.

Classical Quiz Bowl Camp

Grades: Entering 3rd-8th (students will be separated into two divisions, upper and lower)
Location: Holy Family Academy
Students will have three opportunities to participate in Quiz Bowls, receiving a study packet on literature, art, music, geography, religion, and science from three separate ages in history (Elizabethan England, the 20th century, and early United States) and/or assigned reading from great books (from the same time periods), and then competing (ringing in with a buzzer and everything!) a few weeks later.
Cost: May have to purchase books or get them from the library.
