St. John Vianney, also known as the Curé of Ars, was a French priest who was known for his holiness and priestly zeal. He was especially revered as a confessor.
Born in 1786, the priest grew up during the time of the French Revolution which led to the destruction of churches and widespread murders of clergy and religious.
The Shrine of Ars, France, has entrusted to the Knights of Columbus the major relic of St. John Vianney’s incorrupt heart for a national tour of the US through early June 2019. The Knights of Columbus are supporting the cost for the St. John Vianney Relic Pilgrimage.
All donations made will be sent to the St. John Vianney Shrine in Ars, France, to assist with ongoing improvements to their pilgrim center.
The relic will also be available for veneration at the Cathedral of Saint Paul on Friday, May 31st, 3-9 PM.
