"All day long, both at the temple and in their homes, they did not stop teaching and proclaiming the Messiah, Jesus" (acts 5:42)
Sharing the good news of Christ
Discipleship Formation
Seven Tuesday evenings starting September 26th
7-9pm in Fr. Moorman Hall
This fall the Archdiocese is presenting a seven-week series on Discipleship Formation. Archbishop Hebda identified small group formation as the first priority for parish renewal. Though it is officially labeled as “leadership training,” you are not committing to starting a small group by attending. Nor do you have to think of yourself as a “leader.” It is for all those who want to deepen their understanding of how to foster authentic Christian community and give witness to Christ to those around us.
Bishop Joseph Williams will lead these virtual presentations. The Parish Evangelization Cells System (PECS) is the specific method of small group formation chosen. It has been shown that parishes flourish by weaving small groups into parish life, combined with reverent liturgies and Eucharistic adoration.
