Middle School Youth Group, open to grades 6-8, is an opportunity for fellowship, fun and small group formation surrounding a theme that will carry through the semester. This Fall’s Theme is For You from You. It looks at the final five ten commandments and the way that they call the youth to live lives of greatness. We will meet twice a month on Sunday afternoons from 12:30-2:30 in the Sts. Peter and Paul's room. Suggested donation of $40 for each semester.
Fall Semester Theme: "For You From You." Christ calls us to a high standard in the way we live and the way that we treat one another. We are called to live lives where what we say and what we do strengthens our community rather than weakens it and where each person treats the other with respect and finds the same respect given to them. For You/From You looks at the final five, ten Commandments and the way that they call youth to live lives of greatness. It helps the youth to see these commandments not as restrictions, but as a path to learn how to treat one another and have the proper mindset toward the material objects in their lives. It reveals to them the freedom that they can find when they follow Jesus and love one another properly - freedom that allows them to say with honesty, “I truly desire the best for you and from you.”
